Faith-Based Coalition for the Global Fund sends letter to Congress to support FY24 funding

On March 6, 210 leaders of faith from across the nation sent a letter to members of Congress calling on them to commit to $2 billion in funding for the fiscal year 2024. We were proud to include longtime supporters, Pastors Rick and Kay Warren as well on this letter.

These leaders from our Faith-Based Coalition for the Global Fund to Fight AIDS, TB, and Malaria also called upon Congress to offer generous support as well for PEPFAR this year for its reauthorization.

We were proud to take this letter to the Hill for an Advocacy Day with Friends of the Global Fight on Wednesday, March 8 to deliver to members’ offices representing the states of New York, Alabama, and Florida with faith leaders Dr. Robert Record, Rev. Dr. Gabriel Salguero, David Adams, and Yombo Tankoano.
