Are you in the valley of the shadow of death right now? Have you walked the valley with someone else and now need to find the way back out? Carmen talks candidly about the application of the 23rd Psalm to the walk of the faith today.
Amb. Mark Lagon joins Carmen to talk about the global fight against pandemic disease, specifically HIV/AIDS. Using the new book, HIV and AIDS in 2030 A choice between two futures by Dr. David Barstow, Carmen and Mark explore the possibilities and stress the need to act now for the positive possible future of an AIDS free Africa, Asia and America to be the reality in 2030.
During the conversation, Carmen shares the moment when the stigma of HIV/AIDS changed instantly in her heart and mind. Pictured here, former first lady Barbara Bush picked-up, cuddled, and kissed an infected infant. She wasn’t afraid, she was informed – and she was filled with compassion and grace and truth.
As you have done it unto the least of these, my brothers and sisters, you have done it unto me. – Jesus
Mark Lagon advocates for people of faith to speak up for helping the least of these in continuing the fight on malaria, HIV, and AIDS, alongside the book “HIV and AIDS in 2030: A Choice Between Two Futures.”
